Dogs for guarding various objects, weekend house, ponds, car parks, ...

Publication date:

Interest in dogs as "bodyguards" is now a little reduced due to various superior technical tools such as alarm and armed guards, although there are factors where dogs are still inferior to the technique and people.

A reliable guard today is not easy to choose and yet to raise, to choose the right race, to keep it properly, to dress and prepare for what it will be intended for.

Today, on TV and the newspaper, there are plenty of writing and mentioning "aggressive" dogs in a rather negative context. On the one hand, an average person bombarded with this information simply asks whether it is good to hold the dog at all today and not even to be a dangerous dog, that is, be an aggressive watchdog. However, the one who understands more deeply in this issue, knows that the owners are always guilty, not the dog itself. It is as it is done by the owner. In all of this, of course, socialization of a dog or proper training for the actions it will perform .

What can we expect of a dog as a guard? His main task as a guard is to deflect the potential thief or attackers against you or the guardian.
Of course, it would be a mistake to think that some of the races that belong to the guards by some "default" will be sufficient for themselves, and that they will do these jobs. We will only include some races that are meant for these jobs: the Rottweiler, the German shepherd, the sarplaninac, Doberman, a great harlot, a Central Asian shepherd ...
Also, when choosing a dog, it should be taken into account that he will eat and live in our family, which is why the experience of the owner is also important

Before the start of the training, it is necessary to determine the level of their ability to provide protection services, in particular temperament and overall training preparedness. All this information indicates how the dog will be dressed for protection. This is very important for the owner to know how much he can and to what extent to rely on its protector. In addition, these results will determine the mode of training, choose the appropriate methods and way of impacting the dog.
For some simplicity, we will divide them into two groups: tall and gentle
The "tough" dog is the one who will not retreat. We can not be scared by loud noise, banging, or even kicking. On all these challenges he will react even more strongly. Such an aggressive-reaction reaction prevails.
The "gentle" dog may at first seem aggressive - it will show teeth, jump, bark and cut. But under the pressure of the attackers, he will withdraw or lay on the ground. In such a dog, an active or passive defensive reaction prevails. Such dogs may surprise to show signs of fear, to bend up or lower the head, as well as the tail between the legs. The temper of temper may be the result of an unbalanced character or a lack of self-confidence due to the wrong attitude of the owner or dresser.
It should be noted that some dogs behave safely in their place of residence, while in an unknown environment they act fearfully.
Females are considered to be better off-guard than males because of their natural instinct of protecting their offspring. But the mussels are more effective for this purpose, since they are naturally more territorial than the female.
